BTS Jimin, winner of 3 Oricon ‘Weekly Music Rankings’

BTS Jimin took first place in Japan's Oricon 'Weekly Total Album Ranking' with his first solo album 'FACE'.

According to the latest chart released by Oricon on the 31st (as of April 3/counting period March 20-26), 'FACE', released by Jimin on the 24th, earned 231,501 points weekly and topped the 'Weekly Total Album Ranking' 'Climbed to the top. Oricon said, "'FACE' recorded the highest first-week sales (CD) of 225,000 copies for a solo artist album this year, and went straight to first place in the 'Weekly Album Ranking' (as of April 3), with high weekly points. “It also took first place in the ‘Comprehensive Album Ranking’.”

Jimin's first solo album 'FACE' is sweeping the Oricon charts upon its release. Starting with first place in the 'Daily Album Ranking' on the day of release, it also entered the 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking' (as of April 3) and immediately took the top spot.

As a result, Jimin took first place in succession in the 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking', 'Weekly Album Ranking', and 'Weekly Total Album Ranking', winning three crowns in Oricon's 'Weekly Music Ranking'. Jimin is the first solo artist to win three awards in Oricon's 'Weekly Music Ranking' this year.
