Blackpink's 'Shut Down' and Rosé's 'On The Ground' surpass 100 million views
Blackpink's 2nd full-length album title song 'Shut Down' and member Rosé's solo song 'On The Ground' choreography video both surpassed hundreds of millions of views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment on the 8th, Blackpink's 'Shut Down' music video exceeded 400 million views on YouTube at 7:24 am on this day. Approximately 204 days after its release, it became the 17th video to reach 400 million views.

The 'On The Ground' choreography video also reached 100 million views on YouTube at 10:21 pm the previous day (7th). It has been about two years since it was released on March 23, 2021. As this is the team's 40th content with over 100 million views, it gives us an idea of fans' unquenchable interest in Blackpink's performance.

Blackpink has recently been showing a steep increase in both YouTube views and subscribers. Each time a new song is released, regardless of team or solo, the global influence on YouTube has been expanded, and Jisoo's solo debut on March 31st is believed to have served as a catalyst for this.

In fact, on the 7th, member Lisa's solo song 'LALISA' music video and 'MONEY' exclusive performance video exceeded 600 million and 800 million views, respectively, much ahead of the expected time. The official YouTube channel has more than 86.2 million subscribers.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently carrying out the ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]’, the largest world tour for a K-pop girl group, mobilizing approximately 1.5 million people. After successfully completing 14 North American concerts in 7 cities and 10 European tours in 7 cities last year, the four members are heading to Asia to meet more fans. Additionally, they will perform as headliners at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in the US in April and the 'Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival' in the UK in July.
