Blackpink announces additional North American stadium concerts for world tour
BLACKPINK is currently conducting the largest world tour for a K-pop girl group and is significantly expanding its stadium performances in North America.

According to YG Entertainment on the 16th, Blackpink will hold encore performances at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA on August 12th, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on August 18th, Oracle Park in San Francisco on August 22nd, and Dodger Stadium in LA on August 26th. Additional confirmed.

As a result, Blackpink met fans 18 times in 10 cities in North America alone. This is thanks to the explosive support and interest of local fans.

The North American tour was originally scheduled to end with 14 performances in 7 cities in 2022, but requests for additional performances were flooding in, and YG explained that they decided to hold an encore concert in response.

In particular, this concert hall is attracting attention as it is a large stadium that can accommodate tens of thousands of people. This is because it is an indicator that not only demonstrates Blackpink's solid position in the American music market, the 'home of pop', but also confirms their wide popularity and overwhelming ticket power.

In fact, Blackpink served as the first Asian artist to headline at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in the United States, a festival attended by music fans from all over the world, today (16th), the day of the announcement of the encore performance. The four members, who thrilled the audience with their relentless performances, are expected to continue this excitement by going on stage once again on April 22nd.

Meanwhile, Blackpink is conducting the largest world tour by a K-pop girl group, 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]', mobilizing approximately 1.5 million people. After successfully performing in North America and touring Europe last year, they are heading to Asia to interact with more fans. This July, he will become the first K-pop artist to appear as a headliner at the 'Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival', the UK's top music festival.
