SEVENTEEN, Japan's best album, takes first place in Oricon's weekly combined album rankings

The group Seventeen (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) continues to rank first on Japan's Oricon.

SEVENTEEN's first Japanese best album 'ALWAYS YOURS' ranked first with 518,000 points in the latest Oricon weekly total album ranking (as of September 4/counting period August 21-27, 2023) released on the 1st. As a result, Seventeen took first place on this chart for the 10th time in total, breaking the all-time record for 'number of works that have won first place in total albums'.

The 518,000 points earned by Seventeen with 'ALWAYS YOURS' is the second highest weekly points earned by an overseas artist in 2023, following their previous work, their 10th mini album 'FML' (562,000 points).

In addition, 'ALWAYS YOURS' sold more than 500,000 copies in the first week of release, and following 'FML', Seventeen, who has sold more than 500,000 copies in the first week of release for two consecutive works, is also ranked first in the first week of overseas artist albums in 2023. ‘FML’ (552,000 copies) and ‘ALWAYS YOURS’ (512,000 copies) swept first and second places.

Seventeen ranked first on Billboard Japan's 'Artist 100' chart, which was released on the 30th of last month. Additionally, 'ALWAYS YOURS' took the top spot in 'Hot Albums' and 'Top Albums Sales'.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will hold 'SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' TO JAPAN', the largest Japanese dome tour since their debut. 'SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' TO JAPAN' will be held at Tokyo Dome on September 6-7, Veruna Dome (Saitama) on November 23-24, Vantelin Dome Nagoya on November 30 and December 2-3, and December 7. It is scheduled to be held in five Japanese cities, including Kyocera Dome Osaka on the 9th and 10th and Fukuoka PayPay Dome on December 16th and 17th.
