BLACKPINK's 'Pink Venom' choreography video surpasses 200 million views

The choreography video for Blackpink's pre-released song on their 2nd regular album, 'Pink Venom', has surpassed 200 million views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment on the 25th, Blackpink's choreography video for 'Pink Venom' surpassed 200 million views on YouTube around 10:23 pm the previous day. It has been about 364 days since it was released on August 25 last year.

With this, Blackpink has a total of 11 choreography videos with more than 200 million views. In particular, this video reached 20 million views in one day when it was released, breaking its own record for the most views in 24 hours for a K-pop girl group choreography video.

'Pink Venom' is a hip-hop genre song that shows off Blackpink's unique charisma. The sound of Korean traditional instruments combined with the intense beat decorated the intro.

Right after its release, 'Pink Venom', which topped the iTunes charts in 81 countries, took first place on the US Billboard Global 200 for two consecutive weeks and Billboard Global for three consecutive weeks. It also ranked 22nd on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Official Charts, respectively.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is in the midst of the K-pop girl group's largest world tour, 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]', which mobilizes about 1.75 million people. While breathing with fans in four North American cities, New Jersey, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, they will decorate the splendid finale in Seoul on September 16th and 17th.
