The New Six's Choi Tae-hoon said he hopes that all generations can enjoy this retro concept song.

The New Six's third mini-album 'BOYHOOD' comeback showcase was held on the 7th at Blue Square in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Among the 6 members, Chun Jun-hyeok decided to focus on treatment due to health problems and will not be with him for this activity.

The New Six originally worked as TNX, abbreviation of "THE NEW SIX", but this time they decided to promote under their full name. Chang Hyeon-soo said, “I started working under the full name of TNX, The Newsix. I decided to use the full name in order to show the sensitivity of the original team name and to convey the meaning of growing together with the same generation.”

Seongjun Oh explained the album concept, saying, "We focused on reinterpreting popular music in the 80s and 90s in a modern way and showing a future-oriented image."

Choi Tae-hoon said, “I planned this album in a retro style. Retro is a genre that can relate to various generations. Through this album, I hope many people enjoy music with us. It is also our goal. Please enjoy this album with us.”

Seongjun Oh said, “I looked for a lot of reference videos to properly immerse myself in this concept. The senior I want to resemble the most was Deuce senior. I searched for 'in the summer'. It was trendy and sensational. I practiced a lot after watching Deuce sunbaenim.”

'Boyhood' is an album that tells the story of six boys from different backgrounds and regions, living their own lives, gathering together for the same dream and goal, forming a team, relying on each other, and growing together.
