'July sortie' Twice's first unit is 'Misamo'... Mina, Sana, and Momo participated in writing lyrics
JYP Entertainment announced the official debut of Twice's first unit 'Missamo', which was formed with Mina, Sana, and Momo in February. At midnight on the 14th, the new album jacket image and track list were opened on Twice's official SNS channel in Japan.
In the photo, Mina, Sana, and Momo exude the visual atmosphere of goddesses in masterpieces, befitting the album title. The members show off their charisma with the intense colors of black dresses and red curtains and their chic eyes. In addition, it exudes an elegant charm like the main character of an oil painting.
The Japanese mini-album vol.1 'Masterpiece' includes the title song 'Do not touch', 'Behind The Curtain', 'Marshmallow', 'Funny Valentine', ' It's not easy for you', 'Rewind you', and 'Bouquet'. In particular, K-Pop representative producer Park Jin-young directly wrote the lyrics for the title song "Don't touch", raising expectations for the new musical chemistry of "TWICE X JY Park", a winning combination that has been proven with a number of hit songs. Momo, Mina, and Sana participated in the lyrics for track 4, 'Funny Valentine', track 5, 'It's not easy for you', and track 6, 'Rewind you', respectively, enhancing the meaning of the first unit album.
Recently, via official SNS, the showcase commemorating the release of the 1st mini album, 'MISAMO JAPAN SHOWCASE 2023' was announced. From July 22nd to 23rd, Osaka Intex Osaka Exhibition Hall 5, July 25th to 27th, Tokyo Pia Arena MM will hold a performance, and throw a ticket as a misamo amidst the cheering of ONCE (fandom name).
Twice held a solo performance as part of the 5th world tour 'TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR 'READY TO BE'' held at Yanmar Stadium Nagai, Osaka, Japan in May and Ajinomoto Stadium, Tokyo, Japan, making it the first K-pop girl group in Japan. The stadium performance was over. Thanks to the support, it was confirmed that a total of 4 additional dome performances will be held in December. On May 31st, they released their 10th Japanese single, 'Hare Hare', and on June 2nd, 3rd, and 5th, Oricon's daily singles ranking topped the chart, and it topped the weekly singles chart of all stores of Tower Records, the largest record shop in the country. They moved to the United States and kicked off their fifth world tour in the Americas on June 10 (hereafter local time) at Sopai Stadium in Los Angeles.
