THE BOYZ started follow-up unit activities
THE BOYZ performed the title song 'Lip Gloss' of their 2nd regular album 'PHANTASY' Pt.1 'Christmas In August', which lasted for about 2 weeks after performing on SBS 'Inkigayo', which aired on the 20th. (LIP GLOSS)'.
THE BOYZ, who successfully completed their new song 'Lip Gloss', will start promoting their follow-up song 'Passion Fruit', starting with the stage of Mnet's 'M Countdown', which will be broadcast on the 23rd.
The follow-up song 'Passion Fruit' is a special unit song (Younghun, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Q, Sunwoo) that will present THE BOYZ's new charm, and it drew enthusiastic responses from fans right after its release. Members Sunwoo and Kevin participated in writing the lyrics for this song, which will give listeners a more thrilling moment through the harmony of addictive hooks and vocals, and at the same time, Sunwoo participated in the vocal directing process, helping to add THE BOYZ's unique color.
Immediately after its release, THE BOYZ's 2nd regular album 'Fantasy' proved their overwhelming power befitting a K-pop top-class boy group by becoming 'all-kill' by topping domestic and international music charts, albums, global charts, awards ceremonies, and music broadcasts.
The new song 'Lip Gloss' entered the top of the real-time charts such as No. 6 on the Melon Hot 100 chart, No. 4 on the Melon Hot 100 chart, the largest music platform in Korea, after the release of the sound source, as well as successfully lined up all the songs on the latest music charts. The new album ranked at the top of the global iTunes Top Album Chart in 17 countries, including Singapore, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia. Also, on Hanteo Chart, the largest album sales statistics site in Korea, they showed off their potential by topping the Weekly Physical Album Chart for the 2nd week of August.
THE BOYZ, who wrote a variety of records by sweeping domestic and offline both online and offline despite only two weeks of activity, expressed their gratitude to the fans who generously supported them even during their short comeback activities through official SNS on the 20th.
