BTS Jungkook makes a surprise phone call with RM in the US
On the 17th, the main event 'BTS Festa' was held at Hangang Park in Yeouido, Seoul to mark the 10th anniversary of BTS' debut.
At the ARMY lounge prepared on the other side of the park, BTS's leader RM conducted '5:00 PM, I'm Kim Nam-Jun'.
RM received and introduced various stories of ARMY in Part 1. During the broadcast, RM made a phone call with a man who said he was a fan. This fan said, “I am a fan of RM hyung. He introduced himself, saying, “I live in all provinces.” He continued, “I started making music after seeing that hyung’s music. I am still doing music. You are not rapping, you are singing. Can I sing a line?” he sang.
RM said, “If I had sung well like my younger brother, I wouldn’t have rapped.”
The fan said, "I'm always watching from the side" and "Namjoon hyung. “You don’t know who I am,” he called out friendly. RM shuddered, “I’m used to it.” It turns out that this fan is BTS member Jungkook. Jungkook, who is in LA, USA, said, “It was 1:30 in the morning, but I was waiting.” When Jungkook said, “I knew you would know if I sang,” RM joked, “I really didn’t know.” When Jungkook greeted the fans by saying, “I miss you,” the fans cheered. When RM asked, "Please do more offline events like this when you come to Korea," Jungkook expressed a positive intention, saying, "I'll talk to the company."
Jungkook praised RM, saying, “(Progress) is good,” and said, “Army, please enjoy it. I'm going to wash up now. I couldn’t even wash,” he concluded the call. After hanging up the phone, RM said, "I didn't know it was Jungkook. It's bittersweet," he said, trembling until the end. RM said, “We met at the company not too long ago. Everyone is working hard. I think it would be fun to come together as a team.”
