(G)I-DLE, 'Festival of Queen Cars'... Successful ‘World Tour Opening’

Cube Entertainment's flagship group (G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minni, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) announced the successful start of their world tour.

On the 17th, the first performance of (G)I-DLE's world tour 'I am FREE-TY' was held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

(G)I-DLE's performance is the first in a year since 'JUST ME ( )I-DLE' last year. This world tour is (G)I-DLE's second, and the second concert in Seoul has already sold out. (G)I-DLE's performance, which was scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The area around the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, the venue for the concert, has already been flooded with people for several hours.

The first start was (G)I-DLE's hit song 'Dumdi Dumdi'. Then, they showed stages such as "LATATA", "$$$", and "Don't stop", raising the atmosphere of the concert.

After that, individual stages were decorated for each member. Starting with Miyeon's 'Drive', which showed her refreshing charm as a vocalist, Minnie's 'DAHLIA' stage, which connected emotions by playing the piano herself, made the fans' ears happy. In addition, leader Soyeon's 'Psycho' added strong charisma and stage manners, and fans cheered.

Shuhua, the youngest member, threw off her previous image of a girl and showed off her sexy charm. It was exceptional from the start. Shuhua's 'Boys' stage mesmerized fans with silhouette dance and distinctive eyes. Yuqi passionately sang the new song 'Could it Be'. In particular, 'Could it Be' was a song choice that maximized the advantage of being indoors. It was enough to enjoy the acoustic atmosphere of the song through the band sound.

The second half of the performance was a time to feel the 'confidence' of (G)I-DLE. Through 'Nxde', 'Say No', and 'Lucid', they gave fans explosive energy. Then, the stage of hit songs such as 'All night', 'MY BAG', and 'TOMBOY' added to the perfection of the performance.

The last encore stage also made me feel the free-spirited charm of (G)I-DLE. From the light band sound of 'Please' to the girl crush 'Oh My god', the finale was decorated.

Yuqi greeted, saying, "Thank you to Neverland for filling a much bigger venue than last year." Also, Minnie said, “As much as I prepared hard, I hope it will be a good time for Neverland.”

Miyeon expressed her gratitude, saying, "We did a lot of music shows and festivals. However, the energy that Neverland gives you in a performance with Neverland cannot be compared to any other performance."

(G)I-DLE's second world tour concert in Seoul will be held twice on the 17th and 18th. This world tour concert will be held in 16 locations, starting with Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, Hong Kong, San Francisco, LA, Dallas, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, Berlin and Tokyo.
