ZeroBase One Zhang Hao "will become a brand"
On the 10th, Zero Base One's debut showcase was held at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Seoul.
Zero Base One is a boy group consisting of 9 multinational members selected through Mnet's survival audition 'Boys Planet'.
Kim Gyu-bin said, “The goal is to win first place on a music show,” and promised, “If we perform an encore stage, we will show a fun stage.” Ricky said, “I want to receive the rookie award. Isn’t the rookie award a precious award that can only be received once? It would be nice to be with ZeroBase One members and fans in a glorious moment.” Regarding the modifier he wants to get, Matthew Seok said, “I have shown my growth so far, and the Zeros seem to like it. We want to be a team that is always growing. We want to become a group that exceeds expectations.” Jang Hao said, “We will make it a brand and a new genre,” and “we will write the history of K-pop by making the first record.”
The first mini-album, 'Youth in the Shade', is an album that contains the beauty of brilliant youth and the instability behind it. The title song 'In Bloom' is a song that expresses the will of Zero Base One, who is taking a more beautiful and meaningful first step because there is an end, but is still incomplete and immature, but will run towards 'you'. It is a drum and bass genre where vintage sensibility and trendy coexist.
The team name Zero Base One has the meaning of the 'brilliant beginning' of the nine members starting from zero (0) and being born as one (1), and the journey that Zero Base One will walk from the unfinished 0 to 1 with Zeros (fandom name). The members' commitment to be together is implied.
Zero Base One will release its first mini-album 'Youth in the Shade' through each music site at 6 pm on the 10th.
