A new start after the Lee Dal-so dispute... Odd Eye Circle "Looks and skills 'versioned up'"

Odd Eye Circle, as a member of Loona, will make a fresh start with a new album at the new agency after ending the exclusive contract dispute with the former agency. Odd Eye Circle members asked to pay attention to their growth. Also, it was said that there is a possibility of promoting as a full group with the members of Loona.

On the 12th, Odd Eye Circle's new mini-album 'Version Up' showcase was held at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Seoul.

Odd Eye Circle is a girl unit of the month, and released their first mini-album 'Mix&Match' in 2017. This 'Version Up' is a new album after Odd Eye Circle set up a nest in their new agency, Mode House.

Regarding this album, Lip Kim introduced, "This album is the most Odd-Eyed Circle-like album. Those who have loved non-K-pop genres in the past will like it a lot." When asked what Odd Eye Circle's own music is, he explained, "Various genres. It's a worldview and story that we create together with the public."

Choiri expressed her feelings, "As it is a comeback after a long time, I will try to create precious memories with my sisters and fans." Jinsoul said, "As it's been a long time since I've come out, the fans will have high expectations, but I'll repay you." Lip Kim said, "I entered a new company and spent time preparing for a new album. Since we are going on a European tour, I have been busy preparing for the European tour as well."

After winning the contract dispute with the former agency, Odd Eye Circle released an album again under the name of Odd Eye Circle under the new agency. All LOONA members left Blockberry Creative, their former agency, after winning a lawsuit against the company for a temporary injunction to suspend the validity of the exclusive contract. Kim Lip said, "I think I will continue to use the name Odd Eye Circle."

As it is a new album released by Odd Eye Circle, it should be a special feeling. Kim Lip said, "Many things have been upgraded. In addition to the visuals and skills, even the cleverness of answering. I hope you look at it prettily." He continued, "Because it was our first comeback, we were nervous and worried too. We are grateful that we can stand on stage again. We will promote beautifully." When asked about the reactions of the other members of LOONA, Jinsoul thanked them, saying, "Every time a teaser or music video came out, they contacted me saying, 'You're pretty' or 'You're cool.'

When asked what he expected from this activity, Jinsoul replied, "I haven't been able to meet many fans because I haven't been active in unit activities, but this time I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of fans." Choerry said, "I did a daily cafe, a content I wanted to try. I thought I wanted to do more content that I could see up close with my fans while meeting face-to-face."

The title song 'Air Force One' is a number in the jersey club genre, expressing Odd Eye Circle's new style and the healthy steps of the girls. It has dual meanings, such as the attitude of taking off the Odd Eye Circle symbol of Converse and putting on new shoes, and the feeling of looking down from the sky like Air Force One, the presidential plane, but what penetrates is the story of the growth of girls who have risen to the next level.

Jinsoul explained, "It reminds me of Air Force One, the presidential airplane, and it contains the meaning of going up and flying high in the sky." Kim Lip, who participated in writing the lyrics, said, "Thankfully, the CEO gave me the opportunity to participate. I got to participate as a good opportunity." He then explained the point of the choreography, "(The choreography also contains that earnestness)."

Choiri also performed the point choreography herself. He explained, “There were several candidates for the name, such as choreography for following along and choreography for washing windows, but it would be nice if the fans would name it.”

'Version Up' includes the title song 'AIR FORCE ONE', 'Did you wait?', 'Je Ne Sais Quoi', 'Lucid', 'Love Me Like' Me Like)' and 'My Secret Playlist'.

Lip Kim explained, "The intro 'Did you wait?' is the last song completed. This is what I want to say to those who have been waiting for Odd Eye Circle for 7 years." In addition, 'June Se Qua', which means indescribably good, 'Lucid', a fan song that expresses the heart for the long-awaited fans, 'Love Me Like', a sweet confession of love unique to Odd Eye Circle, and a secret playlist, 'My Secret Playlist', etc.

Odd Eye Circle is also part of the Artemis Project. Artemis is a project with members such as Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsol, Choiri, and Hasol, both former Loona members and members of Mode House.

Jinsoul hinted, "Although not all 5 Artemis appeared, as the first runners, I think I was able to come out like this because the CEO trusted me. I gained confidence as much as he believed in me, and Heejin and Hasol are also supporting me." Jinsoul said, "It seems that Odd Eye Circle is getting a lot of evaluations for their musicality. We talked a lot about musicality with the CEO and prepared the album carefully." Choerry said, “We will be active as each of the five members and as a group of five, so please watch over us.”

The members of Odd Eye Circle are determined to show a 'versioned up' image with this album. Jinsoul said, "Since I debuted as Odd Eye Circle, I think I've matured and grown as much time has passed. I feel a sense of responsibility and pressure to show a more mature image." Lip Kim said, “If we were just a complete unit, it would be good if you look at us as a complete group this time.”

Choiri said, "It's been a long time since I've come back, so I'm very worried and excited, but it's nice to see you like this. I'll show you Odd Eye Circle's growing image in the future." Jinsoul asked, “We prepared our song diligently, so please listen to it a lot.”

The members also mentioned the possibility of full group activities as Loona. Lip Kim hinted, "It's not a disbanded group, so we're leaving this part open. However, we can't use the name Loona as we wish. However, we're leaving the possibility of activities open."

Odd Eye Circle 'Version Up' will be officially released at 6 pm on the 12th.
