Choi Yena's agency belatedly apologizes for the 'Hate Rodrigo' controversy
Yena Choi's agency, Yuehua Entertainment, said on the official fancafe on the 5th, "In connection with YENA's second single album [HATE XX] released on June 27, we were unable to promptly inform fans about the artist and album activities. I bow my head and apologize."

Yena Choi released her second single 'HATE XX' on June 27th. Right after its release, the title song 'Hate Rodrigo' received harsh criticism.
'Hate Rodrigo' is a song written and composed by Choi Ye-na herself, and expresses her admiration for Olivia Rodrigo, a pop star who is the target of envy, with cute jealousy. However, it was criticized for directly referring to contemporary singers and for using the word 'hate' in a negative tone.
Here, the music video for 'Hate Rodrigo' was suddenly taken private.
