NewJeans achieved 2 billion cumulative streaming on Spotify in just one year of debut
NewJeans' songs have surpassed 2 billion cumulative streaming on Spotify, the world's largest music platform.

According to Spotify on the 1st, the total number of streams of songs released so far by New Jins (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Harin, Hyein) recorded 2,078,996,41 times as of the 30th of last month. This is the achievement after about a year since debut.

As of March 8, NewJeans achieved a combined cumulative streaming of 1 billion on Spotify. This was recognized as a record set by a K-pop artist in the shortest period (219 days) and was also listed in the Guinness World Records in the UK. And in less than five months, it reached the 2 billion mark.

The recently released 2nd mini album 'Get Up' received a lot of love at home and abroad, accelerating the achievement of 2 billion plays. As of the 30th of last month, the 6 songs in the 2nd mini album exceeded 200 million cumulative plays on Spotify. Among them, 'Super Shy', one of the triple title songs, is currently approaching 90 million views, foreshadowing the addition of NewJeans streaming songs.

NewJeans has put 6 of the total 13 songs released so far on Spotify's streaming list. 'OMG' and 'Ditto' are streaming more than 400 million times, 'Hype boy' is streaming more than 300 million times, 'Attention' is streaming more than 200 million times, and 'Cookie' and 'Hurt' are streaming more than 100 million times.

It is also continuing to perform well on the Spotify chart. 'Super Shy' ranked 12th on the latest chart by steadily raising the ranking while being ranked on the US 'Weekly Top Song' for three consecutive weeks.
