'The King and the Clown' Surpasses 11.5 Million Viewers, Tops Box Office
The film 'The King and the Clown' directed by Jang Hang-jun has surpassed 11.5 million viewers.

According to the Integrated Computer Network for Movie Tickets, 'The King and the Clown' maintained its number one position at the box office on the 8th. It recorded a daily audience of 699,974 and a cumulative audience of 11,503,745.

Over the past weekend, 'The King and the Clown' attracted more than 1.45 million viewers. On the 6th, it became the 34th film to join the '10 million club'. The movie is set in 1457 Cheongnyeongpo and tells the story of a village chief who voluntarily exiles himself for the village's revival and a young dethroned king in exile. The film stars Yoo Hae-jin, Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Ji-tae, and Jeon Mi-do.

In second place at the box office is the animation 'Hoppers' directed by Daniel Chong. 'Hoppers' drew a daily audience of 105,981 and a cumulative audience of 315,184.

'Hoppers' is a Pixar animal adventure where a girl named 'Mabel' becomes a robot beaver through the 'hopping' technology that transfers human consciousness into animal robots, leading her to unexpected adventures in a wondrous animal world.

In third place is 'Humint' directed by Ryu Seung-wan, with a daily audience of 15,497 and a cumulative audience of 1,932,209, steadily attracting viewers.

'Humint' is set in Vladivostok, where secrets and truths are submerged in the icy sea, and features a clash of individuals with different objectives. The film is praised for its intense action and profound emotions. It stars Jo In-sung, Park Jung-min, Park Hae-joon, and Shin Se-kyung.

Elsewhere, 'God's Band' directed by Kim Hyung-hyup is in fourth place, and 'Mad Dance Office' directed by Cho Hyun-jin is in fifth.
