Korean Film 'The Man Who Lives with the King' Surpasses 10 Million Viewers
The Korean film 'The Man Who Lives with the King,' directed by Jang Hang-jun, has surpassed 9.77 million viewers. With pre-sale tickets included, it has already reached the 10 million mark.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network, 'The Man Who Lives with the King' topped the box office on the 5th. It recorded a daily audience of 180,548 and a cumulative audience of 9.77 million.

Set in 1457 Cheongnyeongpo, the film tells the story of a village chief who voluntarily exiles himself for the prosperity of his village and a young dethroned king in exile. The film stars Yoo Hae-jin, Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Ji-tae, and Jeon Mi-do.

As of 10 a.m. on the 6th, 'The Man Who Lives with the King' had 300,000 pre-sale tickets. Combining the cumulative audience and pre-sale tickets, it has already surpassed 10 million viewers, making it a sure bet to become a blockbuster.

In second place at the box office is the animation 'Hoppers,' directed by Daniel Chong. 'Hoppers' attracted 11,795 viewers daily, with a cumulative audience of 81,361.

'Hoppers' is a Pixar animal adventure where a girl named Mabel, transformed into a robot beaver through the 'hopping' technology that transfers human consciousness into animal robots, embarks on an unexpected adventure in a world full of wonder.

In third place is 'Humint,' directed by Ryu Seung-wan, with a daily audience of 7,105 and a cumulative audience of 1.88 million.

'Humint' is set in Vladivostok, where secrets and truths are submerged in the icy sea, and people with different purposes clash. The film, praised for its intense action and profound emotions, stars Jo In-sung, Park Jung-min, Park Hae-joon, and Shin Se-kyung.

Elsewhere, 'Mad Dance Office,' directed by Jo Hyun-jin, ranked fourth, and 'Bride!' directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, ranked fifth.
