Jeon Jong-seo Opens Up About Her Relationship with Director Lee Choong-hyun and Her Cinematic Image
On the 9th, Jeon Jong-seo sat down for an interview at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, to discuss her upcoming film 'Project Y.' Directed by Lee Hwan, 'Project Y' is set to release on the 21st and tells the story of Mi-seon and Do-kyung, who, while dreaming of a different tomorrow in the heart of a bustling city, find themselves at the edge of a cliff in life, stealing black money and gold bars.
In the film, Jeon Jong-seo plays the role of Do-kyung, who makes a living as a private taxi driver. During the interview, Jeon Jong-seo spoke about her close relationship with Han So-hee and her public romance with director Lee Choong-hyun. When asked if Lee gets jealous of her friendship with Han So-hee, Jeon Jong-seo laughed shyly and said, "Director Lee seems to support all my relationships."
However, Jeon Jong-seo revealed that her real personality is quite different. "In reality, that's not the case at all. I have very mainstream tastes and enjoy watching movies and dramas casually," she confessed. "When I went to the Toronto International Film Festival, I was actually very nervous."
Reflecting on her debut, she said, "When I was filming 'Burning,' I really didn't know anything. Looking back, the casting itself feels like a miracle." She added with a laugh, "I'm just an ordinary person."
When asked if she felt stressed by any unintended controversies, Jeon Jong-seo simply replied, "Yes," and added, "I think I'm just focusing on my duties and responsibilities, quietly doing my work and moving forward."
