Venice Film Festival Highlight 'No Choice' Gears Up for U.S. Release with Star-Studded Promotions

The highly anticipated film 'No Choice', which was invited to the competition section of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and served as the opening film for the 30th Busan International Film Festival, is ramping up its promotional efforts across various platforms, including YouTube channels 'DdeunDdeun' and 'YoJungJaeHyung', as well as SBS's '8 O'Clock News'.

'No Choice' tells the story of Mansu, played by Lee Byung-hun, a contented office worker who suddenly finds himself unemployed. As he struggles to protect his family and home, he embarks on a personal battle to re-enter the workforce. The film has garnered significant attention both domestically and internationally, and its cast is actively promoting it ahead of its release.

On the morning of the 20th at 9 AM, Lee Byung-hun, Lee Sung-min, and Yum Hye-ran will appear on the YouTube channel 'DdeunDdeun' in the 'Excuse Go' segment. As this is their second appearance, Lee Byung-hun and Lee Sung-min are expected to engage in lively banter with host Yoo Jae-suk. Yum Hye-ran will share behind-the-scenes stories and insights into her character, Ara.

On the 21st at 5 PM, Son Ye-jin will join Jung Jae-hyung on the YouTube channel 'YoJungJaeHyung', where they will showcase their chemistry in a relaxed setting. This episode will delve into Son Ye-jin's diverse filmography and her candid thoughts as an actress, heightening anticipation for the film's release. Later that evening at 8 PM, director Park Chan-wook will appear on SBS's '8 O'Clock News' to discuss the making of 'No Choice', his collaboration with the cast, and his cinematic journey.

'No Choice' was well-received at its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, attended by director Park Chan-wook, Lee Byung-hun, Son Ye-jin, Park Hae-soo, Lee Sung-min, and Yum Hye-ran. The film was also selected as the opening film for the 30th Busan International Film Festival, where the same stars graced the red carpet on the 17th, with Lee Byung-hun serving as the host.

Director Park Chan-wook's latest film 'No Choice' is set to be released on the 24th.
