Actor Kim Dae-myung Shares First Impressions of 'Don't Touch Dirty Money' Script
Actor Kim Dae-myung shared his initial thoughts upon reading the script for 'Don't Touch Dirty Money'.

On the 26th, a production briefing for the movie 'Don't Touch Dirty Money' was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Jung Woo, Kim Dae-myung, Park Byung-eun, and director Kim Min-soo.

'Don't Touch Dirty Money' (directed by Kim Min-soo) tells the story of two detectives who, while investigating crimes by day and taking bribes by night, dream of a perfect crime to turn their lives around. However, they get entangled in an unexpected accident. This film marks the directorial debut of Kim Min-soo, who co-wrote 'The Merciless' and 'Kingmaker'.

Jung Woo plays Myung-deuk, a detective who investigates crimes by day and takes bribes from illegal establishments by night. Kim Dae-myung portrays Dong-hyuk, Myung-deuk's partner who looks up to him like an older brother. Park Byung-eun takes on the role of Seung-chan, a former colleague of Myung-deuk and now a team leader with a bitter past.

On this day, Jung Woo commented on the film's title, saying, "It was simple yet impactful. When actors first receive a script, they look at the title, production company, and distributor, and this one immediately caught my eye," eliciting laughter. He continued, "I wondered what the story would be about. Is it about lives getting ruined because of mishandling money? With various thoughts in mind, I opened the script."

Kim Dae-myung shared, "I have a habit of printing scripts and reading them as books. I remember being engrossed in it for a long time. It felt like something you shouldn't touch carelessly," adding, "Maybe because I was so focused, I found it very enjoyable."

'Don't Touch Dirty Money' is set to be released on October 17.
