SHINee's Minho Shines in Debut Stage Performance of 'Waiting for Godot Waiting'

Choi Minho, also known as SHINee's Minho, successfully completed his first performance in the play 'Waiting for Godot Waiting'.

On the 10th, Choi Minho took to the stage for the first time in his career, playing the role of 'Val' in the comedy play 'Waiting for Godot Waiting', an homage to Samuel Beckett's absurdist play 'Waiting for Godot'.

The character 'Val', portrayed by Choi Minho, is known for his candid and pure nature. Throughout the play, he engages in deep conversations about art, life, and theater with 'Esther' (played by Lee Soon-jae), showcasing his journey to becoming a true actor.

Minho captivated the audience with his vibrant charm and comedic timing, particularly in his interactions with his co-star Lee Soon-jae, providing fresh laughter to the viewers.

Currently starring in JTBC's weekend drama 'Family X Melo', Minho has been praised for his delicate portrayal of hidden family secrets and youthful romance. His performance in the play further demonstrates his expanding acting range.

To prepare for his stage debut, Minho dedicated himself to daily practice sessions at a rehearsal studio in Daehangno, showing his genuine passion for the theater. All tickets for his performances sold out immediately upon release, highlighting his strong ticket-selling power.

'Waiting for Godot Waiting' is set in the dressing room of the play 'Waiting for Godot', focusing on the understudies 'Esther' and 'Val' of the main characters Estragon and Vladimir.
