Veteran 2 Original Soundtrack by Music Director Jang Ki-ha Released Today
The 'Veteran 2 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)' by music director Jang Ki-ha includes 52 tracks, such as the theme song for 'Hatch' and a reinterpretation of the signature theme from the previous film, 'Team Veteran'. The newly created theme song for 'Hatch' by Jang Ki-ha is a perfect blend of heavy electronic sounds and heavy metal elements, with a Baroque-style melody that adds a refreshing twist. Additionally, the signature theme 'Team Veteran' from the previous film, composed by the late music director Bang Jun-seok, has been reborn with a rock and roll sound under Jang Ki-ha's direction. The preview trailer, which was released in advance, has already been well-received by prospective audiences. The 'Veteran 2' OST, which includes a variety of original compositions, offers a diverse range of music from rock and roll to electronic sounds and Baroque melodies. Audiences will be able to enjoy music that fills the tension, suspicion, confrontation, and duels as they follow the story of the film.
Music director Jang Ki-ha stated, "I found myself thoroughly enjoying the script of 'Veteran 2' without even realizing it. The next moment, I was already working on the project." He added, "Like other films by director Ryoo Seung-wan, it will be an experience akin to riding a roller coaster, following the relentless action and story development. 'Veteran 2' is an action crime investigation drama where veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (Hwang Jung-min) of the violent crime investigation team is joined by rookie detective Park Sun-woo (Jung Hae-in) as they chase a serial killer who has shaken the world. The film is set to be released nationwide on September 13.
