MOVIE
'Veteran 2' starring Hwang Jung-min and Jung Hae-in will be released on September 13th.

Director Ryu Seung-wan's movie 'Veteran 2' is an action crime investigation drama in which the youngest detective, Park Seon-woo (played by Jung Hae-in), joins the violent crime investigation team of veteran Detective Seo Do-cheol (played by Hwang Jung-min), who catches bad guys until the end, and pursues a serial killer who caused an uproar in the world.
The released poster contains fragments of the more evolved and deeper action styling of director Ryu Seung-wan, who represents the Korean action genre. The situation in which Seo Do-cheol and Park Sun-woo confront someone in a pouring rain and the action scene with a sense of urgency are composed of two posters, but they convey the feeling of a single movie scene. In 'Veteran 2', Hwang Jung-min and Jung Hae-in will appear as a veteran detective and a new detective, showing off their attractive relationship and intimate acting chemistry.
Director Ryu Seung-wan said, "I have always thought that I would make a sequel someday since the release of 'Veteran' in 2015. In fact, it is even more meaningful that 'Veteran 2' is completed because it was a project that has been stuck in my head for 9 years. I hope the audience enjoys it too. “I hope you give it to me,” he said.
'Veteran 2' was released as a world premiere at the 77th Cannes International Film Festival. It will be released in theaters in Korea on September 13th.
