Park Bo-gum was satisfied with the two-shot with Suzy.
On the 4th, I met Park Bo-gum, the star of the movie 'Wonderland', at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Seoul.
'Wonderland' is a work that depicts the story of reuniting with a loved one through Wonderland, a video call service that restores dead people with artificial intelligence (AI). Park Bo-gum played the role of Tae-joo, the boyfriend of Jeong-in (played by Suzy), who was unfamiliar and confused about everything he encountered after waking up from unconsciousness. Suzy played Jeong-in, an airline flight attendant who restored her unconscious boyfriend to Wonderland.
Park Bo-gum hosted Suzy and Baeksang Arts Awards as an MC several times. However, this movie is the first time the two have acted together as lovers. The visual harmony and romantic chemistry of the two people has been a hot topic even before its release.
Park Bo-gum was happy and said, “I feel good because people look at me favorably.” He continued, "When we were MCs, we worked by only memorizing awards and award-related comments. We worked well together there, but as we acted, we talked more deeply about the work and the characters and became more serious." In addition, "Suzy and I had fun preparing and filming 'Wonderland'. During the pre-production stage, we read together, talked with the director, took pictures with each other, and thought, 'How can I express the lives of these friends well?' “It was a meaningful time for me,” he said, adding, “I hope we can meet again in a good project if the opportunity arises in the future.”
Park Bo-gum and Suzy appeared on KBS' 'The Seasons - Zico's Artist' and performed a duet performance of the film's insert song 'WISH: Wonderland is here'. Park Bo-gum praised himself, saying, "I've been watching 'The Seasons' every day these days, and I look like a pretty and green youth." He also said, "The photos in the movie also looked young. I could see that time had passed. I wondered if this feeling would be conveyed to the audience as well."
Park Bo-gum said, "(Suzy) and I actually became closer while filming the movie. Originally, we always spoke respectfully to each other." He praised Suzy, saying, “She has many charms.” He continued, "Acting is also acting, but when we meet people in person, he is easy-going. He respects and is considerate of others. I think he is a good friend." He said, "We sang a song together, right? The director half-jokingly and half-seriously said, 'I'd like you to make a musical movie.' Looking at us, he said he wanted to make a sweet and pretty story."
Park Bo-gum made people laugh by saying, "Filming 'Wonderland' was fun. I got a lot of help from Suzy, and I think I did a good job too." He also added, "I did my best. I was serious and worked hard at that moment."
‘Wonderland’ will be released on the 5th.
