'THE ROUNDUP 4' ranked first in the box office for 8 consecutive days
According to the integrated movie theater ticket network, 'THE ROUNDUP 4' maintained first place in the box office for the 8th day, mobilizing 784,802 people on the 1st, Labor Day. As of today, the cumulative number of viewers is 5,790,314.
'THE ROUNDUP 4' is about the monster detective Ma Seok-do (played by Ma Dong-seok), who returns to face Jang Dong-cheol (played by Lee Dong-hwi), a genius CEO in the IT industry, and villain Baek Chang-gi (played by Kim Moo-yeol), a former special forces mercenary who runs a large-scale online illegal gambling organization. (played by Park Ji-hwan), is a movie depicting a crime eradication operation carried out together with the Kwangsoo Unit and the Cyber Team.
'THE ROUNDUP 1' attracted 6.88 million people, 'THE ROUNDUP 2' attracted 12.69 million people, and 'THE ROUNDUP 3' attracted 10.68 million people, turning the 'THE ROUNDUP' series into a domestic box office franchise film. In addition, 'Crime City 4' set a new record for the highest opening of the year in the five days since its release, as well as exceeding 1 million, 2 million, 3 million, and 4 million viewers in the shortest period of time, as well as the largest number of daily viewers and the largest audience mobilization in the opening week.
‘Kung Fu Panda’ maintained second place. The number of daily viewers is 38,600, and the cumulative number of viewers is 1,443,201.

As of 9:10 a.m. on the 2nd, 'THE ROUNDUP 4' ranked first with 78.2% in real-time reservation rate. The second place in advance reservation rate is ‘Kung Fu Panda 4’ (4.0%), and the third place is ‘Pokemon: The Story of the Chengdu Region, Final Chapter’ (3.2%).
