'Inside Out 2' opens on June 12th
'Inside Out 2' is an animated film about the crisis and adventure that begins again as unfamiliar emotions such as anxiety, embarrassment, boredom, and envy appear in the emotional control center of 13-year-old Riley's head, breaking her peaceful daily life. 'Inside Out 2', the second story of 'Inside Out', which was released in 2015, has confirmed its simultaneous IMAX release on June 12.
'Inside Out' not only exceeded 4.97 million viewers domestically, but also received the love of both audiences and critics, including exceeding $850 million in worldwide revenue and winning Best Animated Feature at the 88th Academy Awards. 'Inside Out 2', which returns after 9 years, is scheduled to tell the story of the five existing emotions and the newly emerged emotions.
The special poster contains the meeting of five existing emotions and new, unfamiliar emotions. The five emotions Joy, Anger, Sadness, Grumpy, and Timid located in the emotional control headquarters are looking up at Anxiety, Embarrassment, Boring, and Envy, who suddenly burst into the headquarters with a lot of baggage, showing an uncomfortable expression as if they are wary of new emotions. Against the backdrop of a chaotic emotional control headquarters with broken windows, it foreshadows a conflict between existing and new emotions, stimulating curiosity about what new events will occur between them. It is expected to convey a deeper empathy following the previous episode, 'Inside Out', as it provides a glimpse into the unique imagination and original ideas of new emotions that arise as one enters puberty.
