'THE ROUNDUP 4' attracted 1.33 million viewers within two days of its release

The movie 'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT' maintained first place in the box office, exceeding 1.33 million viewers within two days of its release.

According to the integrated computer network for movie theater admission tickets, 'THE ROUNDUP 4' ranked first in the box office, mobilizing 473,055 people on the 25th. As of today, the cumulative number of viewers is 1,335,673.

'THE ROUNDUP 4' is about the monster detective Ma Seok-do (played by Don Lee) and the return of Jang Yi-soo (played by Lee Dong-hwi) against villain Baek Chang-gi (played by Kim Moo-yeol), a former special forces mercenary who runs a large-scale online illegal gambling organization, and IT industry genius CEO Jang Dong-cheol (played by Lee Dong-hwi). (played by Park Ji-hwan), is a movie depicting a crime eradication operation carried out together with the Kwangsoo Unit and the Cyber Team. 'Crime City 1' attracted 6.88 million people, 'Crime City 2' attracted 12.69 million people, and 'Crime City 4' attracted 10.68 million people, turning the 'Crime City' series into a domestic box office franchise film.

'Kung Fu Panda 4' took second place. The number of daily viewers is 6,572, and the cumulative number of viewers is 1,288,673.

'Kung Fu Panda 4' is a story about Po's new challenge, where he must overcome even himself as a dragon warrior to face the villain Chameleon, who replicates the abilities of all Kung Fu masters. Previously, 'Kung Fu Panda 1' (2008) attracted 4.65 million people, 'Kung Fu Panda 2' (2011) attracted 5.06 million people, and 'Kung Fu Panda 3' (2016) attracted 3.98 million people.

'Exhuma' ranked 3rd. 4,916 people were added during the day, bringing the total to 11,821,157.

'Exhuma' is an occult mystery film that tells the story of strange events that happen to geomancers, undertakers, and shamans who relocate suspicious tombs in exchange for a large amount of money. It is directed by Jang Jae-hyun and stars Choi Min-sik, Yoo Hae-jin, Kim Go-eun, and Lee Do-hyun.

4th place was 'Challengers and 5th place was '10 years of remaining life'.

As of 9 a.m. on the 26th, the real-time reservation rate for 'THE ROUNDUP 4' was overwhelmingly first at 93.7%. The number of advance tickets for 'THE ROUNDUP 4' is 848,100, which means it has already secured a cumulative audience of over 2.13 million. At this rate, it is expected that the film will easily surpass the break-even point of 3.5 million viewers in the first weekend. The second place in advance reservation rate is ‘Kung Fu Panda 4’ (1.8%), and the third place is ‘Stuntman’ (0.5%).
