'THE ROUNDUP 4' surpassed 1 million viewers in just two days of release

The movie 'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT' surpassed 1 million viewers at 9:30 am today (25th), the second day of its release.

According to the integrated movie theater ticket network, 'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT' exceeded 1 million viewers as of 9:30 am today (25th). The mobilization of 1 million viewers on the second day of release is the fastest among films released this year, and predicts that 'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT' will set another box office record this year.

'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT' exceeded 820,000 viewers on the first day of release, recording an overwhelming opening score that included first place in the overall box office, the best opening in the series in 2024, and the top 4 openings in Korean movies of all time. Not only that, 'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT', which exceeded 1 million viewers in just 2 days of its release and attracted 1 million viewers in the shortest period of time this year, is attracting attention as a new box office record that will be set in the future.

'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT' follows the return of monster detective Ma Seok-do (Don Lee) against villain Baek Chang-gi (Kim Mu-yeol), a former special forces mercenary who runs a large-scale online illegal gambling organization, and IT industry genius CEO Jang Dong-cheol (Lee Dong-hwi). Park Ji-hwan (played by Park Ji-hwan), a movie depicting a crime eradication operation carried out with the Gwangsoo University and the cyber team, is being screened in theaters nationwide.
