EL didn't pay attention to visuals in the movie 'Following'
On the 15th, a production briefing session for the movie 'Following' was held at Megabox Seongsu, Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. Director Kim Se-hwi and actors Byun Yo-han, Shin Hye-sun, and EL attended.
'Following' is a mystery that unfolds when Goo Jeong-tae (played by Byun Yo-han), a real estate agent with a hobby of spying, witnesses the death of Han So-ra (played by Shin Hye-sun), an influencer he was observing, and searches around Han So-ra to clear the name of the murderer. A chase thriller.
Byun Yo-han plays the role of Koo Jeong-tae, a real estate agent who steals into other people's lives. Shin Hye-sun played the role of Han So-ra, an influencer who steals other people's attention by creating a glamorous life through false postings. EL took on the role of Oh Young-joo, a homicide detective investigating a disappearance case.
Lee El said, "The first was the fun of the scenario, and then the role of a detective. I wanted to play the role of a detective someday. I also wanted to work with actors Byun Yo-han and Shin Hye-sun, so I got an offer and decided to do it."
EL, who appears in the play with a simple appearance, said, “I didn’t pay any attention to my external appearance.” He joked, “Looking at the way it’s been edited these days, I wonder if I should have paid more attention.” Regarding Oh Young-joo's character, he stimulated curiosity by saying, "Because he is a persistent person, he will catch (the criminal) somehow, but you will have to watch the movie to know the result."
'Following' will be released in May.
