The movie ‘Spring in Seoul’ remained at the top of the box office for 7 days after its release.

According to the Korea Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admissions on the 29th, 'Spring in Seoul' (directed by Kim Seong-su) ranked first with 232,273 viewers on the 28th. The cumulative number of viewers is 2,364,625.

'Spring in Seoul' is a movie depicting the 9 hours of desperate action to prevent the rebellion of the new military forces that occurred in the capital city of Seoul on December 12, 1979. It is directed by Kim Seong-soo and stars Hwang Jung-min, Jung Woo-sung, Lee Seong-min, Park Hae-joon, and Kim Sung-gyun.

Second place went to ‘Freddy’s Pizza Place’ (directed by Emma Tammy), which attracted 8,075 viewers and accumulated 575,964 viewers. Third place is the Japanese animation ‘How Will You Live?’ (directed by Hayao Miyazaki), which was watched by 5,696 people, recording a cumulative audience of 1,960,669. This was followed by 'The Hunger Games: Ballad of Singing Birds and Snakes' and the Marvel movie 'The Marvels'.
