Park Hye-soo was suspected of school violence in February 2021, and a legal battle regarding the allegations is underway. Park Hye-soo, who met the audience at the time through 'You and I', which was invited to the Busan International Film Festival last year, said that a year later, she is still building a strong relationship with the 'You and I' team.

The movie deals with the love between high school students Se-mi and Ha-eun as a major theme. Kim Si-eun said, "I read the scenario with anticipation because I heard that senior Cho Hyeon-cheol would direct it, and it seemed like the feelings of a high school student were well expressed. Regarding the background of casting Park Hye-soo, director Kim Hyeon-cheol said, "I met (Park) Hye-soo through a work, and it was in 'Swing Kids' that my acting was imprinted.
