Sol Kyung-gu vs. Park Hae-soo ‘Firework confrontation’

Stills of strong rivals Sol Kyeong-gu and Park Hae-soo in the movie 'Ghost' (directed by Lee Hae-young) have been released.

On the 4th, distributor CJ ENM released a still from 'Ghost' that shows the checks between strong rivals Junji (played by Sol Kyeong-gu) and Kaito (played by Park Hae-soo). 'Ghost' is a film that depicts the desperate struggle of suspects trapped in a remote hotel, suspected of being spies planted by an anti-Japanese organization at the Japanese Government-General of Korea in Gyeongseong in 1933, to escape through suspicion, and the unstoppable operation of a real ghost.

The released still shows the fierce confrontation between Junji and Kaito, long-standing rivals in 'Ghost'. Junji was the 7th generation descendant of the Murayama family, fluent in the language and circumstances of Joseon, and was an elite soldier who was on the road to success, but was demoted and sent to the communications department as a supervisor.

Although Junji is a suspect in a trap designed by Kaito, the new governor's bodyguard captain who has been his rival since his military days, to find the ghost of an anti-Japanese organization spy, he plans to show his ambition to find the ghost before him and return to the Police Bureau.

Although Kaito is a talented person who has walked the path to success without hesitation, he has a complex about Junji, one of the ghost suspects and a rival during his military days. As revealed in the still, a strange relationship is predicted, further stimulating curiosity. The relationship between the two, which is pushed to the extreme, from tense psychological warfare mixed with constant suspicion and checks, to hand-to-hand combat, to fighting using firearms, is expected to be responsible for the tension of the play.

Sol Kyung-gu said, "The psychological warfare between Junji and Kaito is interesting. The unique relationship between the two people that has not been seen in anti-Japanese movies will provide new fun." At the same time, he chose Park Hae-soo as the person he was most thankful for in 'Ghost' and boasted that although they were rivals in the drama, their relationship was actually close.

Park Hae-soo responded, "I respect senior Sol Kyung-gu's attitude, will, and energy toward his work. It was difficult because Kaito's lines were 100% Japanese, but he gave me a lot of encouragement and praise, which helped me."

Meanwhile, 'Ghost' will be released on the 18th.
