Kang Ki-young "'The Point Men', Hwang Jung-min and Hyun Bin were next to me"

On the afternoon of the 13th, a press preview screening of the movie 'Negotiation' (directed by Im Soon-rye) was held at Megabox COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Actors Hwang Jung-min, Hyun Bin, Kang Ki-young, and director Im Sun-rye attended the press conference held after the preview.
'Negotiation' is a movie depicting the negotiation operation between a diplomat and a local National Intelligence Service agent who went to Afghanistan to rescue Koreans who were taken hostage by the Taliban in the worst kidnapping incident.
Kang Ki-young played the role of Kasim in the play. Kasim, whose name is Lee Bong-han, is a weedy Korean who survived in the back alleys of Afghanistan.
On this day, Kang Ki-young made everyone laugh by saying, "This is my first time in front of so many flashes. I'm nervous and nervous. I wonder what a blessing I've been given to play the role of Kasim in 'Negotiation,' and I'd like to thank director Soon-rye Lim."
Regarding 'Negotiation', which was made into a film based on sensitive material, Kang Ki-young explained, "I've said everything before. It would be a lie if I said that I didn't feel this much pressure based on the scenario, but the charm of the created character called Kassim greatly appealed to me."
He added, "I looked at the role as the focus. There was Hyun Bin, senior Hwang Jung-min, and Lim Sun-rye. I was greedy for the character itself."
Meanwhile, 'Negotiation' will be released on the 18th.
