“I like my body better than ‘61-year-old’ Tom Cruise”
Interview with Gyeon Ja-dan as Gyo-bong in the movie ‘Eight Dragons of Heaven: The Story of Gyo-bong’
Chinese actor Gyeon Zidan revealed that he has a better body than Tom Cruise.On the morning of the 20th, the Gyeonjadan told various stories about the movie ‘Eight Dragons of Heaven: The Tale of Gyobong’ at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
'Eight Dragons and Eight Parts: The Story of Qiao Feng' is set in the early Northern Song Dynasty when the Song Dynasty and the Liao Dynasty of the Khitan tribe were in conflict. Jiaofong (played by Jian Zidan), who joined a gang of beggars and became the leader, Bang Jang, was caught up in a conspiracy, was framed for murder, and left the Gao Jang on his own. Authentic martial arts action featuring a new journey that begins with a new journey.
Gyeonjadan took on four roles, including actor, producer, director, and martial arts director, through 'Eight Dragons of Heaven: The Battle of Gyobon'. In particular, the group visited Korea for the third time in 13 years to promote the movie.
Previously, at a press conference held after the press screening of 'Eight Dragons and Eight Parts: The Battle of Gyobon', Gyeonjadan said, "Tom Cruise can do it, so I can do it too."
On this day, the observation group said, "I respect Tom Cruise for acting like jumping out of an airplane even though he is 61 years old. I think that in modern society, (actors) have a longer life if they take good care of their bodies. Acting is not a sports game, decisions can be made within minutes. “Because it’s not a flying thing,” he said.
He added, "Actors and directors accumulate a lifetime of experience. If you take good care of your body, a good body is part of acting. I think I have a better body than Tom Cruise, so I think I can do it too."
Gyeonjadan was born in 1963 and is now 60 years old. He said, "I have to take care of my body. As I am a professional actor, there are some things I cannot relax about. In my daily life, I live a life no different from other people. When my friends invite me, I eat and drink. But always. “Balance is the most important thing,” he explained.
Also, "If I overate the day before or ate something unhealthy, I try to find balance by detoxing the next day. I never enjoy nightlife or entertainment.
