Park Chan-wook's 'decision to break up' fails to be nominated for US Academy Awards

On the 24th (local time), the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science (AMPAS) nominated 'All Is Good on the Western Front' (Germany) and 'Argentina, 1985' as nominees in the International Feature Film category for the 95th Academy Awards. (Argentina) 'Close' (Belgium) 'EO' (Poland) 'The Quiet Girl' (Ireland) 5 films were selected.
Unfortunately, 'Resolution to Break Up', which was listed among the 15 preliminary candidates announced on the 21st of last month, was not selected as a final candidate.
'Decision to Break Up' was a finalist in the previously held Golden Globes and Critics' Choice Awards, but also failed to win an award. At the Golden Globes, 'Argentina, 1985' won the trophy, and at the Critics' Choice Awards, 'RRR' beat 'Decision to Break Up'.

'Decision to Break Up' attracted attention by winning the Best Director trophy at the Cannes Film Festival in May last year.
Meanwhile, this year's Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles (LA), USA on March 12. The film with the most Academy nominations this year is 'Everything Everywhere All at Once.'
