Doctor A was booked without detention on charges of giving drugs to actor Lee Sun-gyun (48) and group Big Bang's G-Dragon (35, real name Kwon Ji-yong).

On the 26th, the Incheon Police Agency's drug crime investigation unit announced that it was investigating doctor A, who was booked without detention on charges of violating the law on drug management.

During the investigation after receiving intelligence that drugs were being distributed at a membership-based entertainment establishment targeting high-income earners in Gangnam, Seoul, the police discovered suspicions about Mr. B (29, female), the manager of the entertainment establishment, Lee Sun-kyun, and G-Dragon, and found them to have supplied drugs. Doctor A was also identified. Police believe that Mr. A supplied drugs to Lee Sun-kyun and G-Dragon without receiving compensation.

Meanwhile, the Incheon Police Agency's drug crime investigation unit booked Lee Sun-gyun without detention on the 24th, adding the charge of psychotropic drugs in addition to marijuana under the Narcotics Management Act. Police believe that Lee Seon-gyun misused not only drugs such as marijuana, but also anesthetics and sleeping pills used for medical purposes.

In order to secure evidence and interrogate Lee Sun-kyun prior to summoning him, the police are expected to collect Lee Sun-kyun's urine and hair and request analysis from the National Institute of Forensic Science. In addition, the plan is to confiscate Lee Seon-kyun's cell phone and conduct a digital forensic investigation.

Currently, Lee Sun-kyun has neither admitted nor denied the drug use charges, only saying, "I will faithfully undergo the police investigation."

In addition, the Incheon Police Agency booked G-Dragon without detention on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. However, it is known that G-Dragon's indictment is separate from the Lee Sun-kyun case.

Even before the shock of Lee Sun-kyun's drug charges subsides, G-Dragon's drug scandal once again hits the entertainment industry, creating chaos.
