A legal representative expressed his position regarding the rumors surrounding actor Lee Sun-gyun (48), who shocked the public by being placed on the police's internal investigation list on drug charges.

On the 23rd, lawyer Park Seong-cheol of Jipyong Law Firm emphasized in a phone call with Ten Asia, "Lee Seon-kyun does not know Mr. A, a third-generation chaebol, and Mr. B, a former trainee, at all." Previously, Lee Sun-gyun completely denied the suspicion that he had taken drugs in Gangnam entertainment establishments while hanging out with Mr. A and Mr. B. Attorney Park raised his voice again, saying that in this case, there is absolutely no connection between Lee Seon-gyun and Mr. A and B.

In addition, Lee Sun-gyun's wife, actress Jeon Hye-jin (47), recently denied some speculation that this incident was related to the sale of a building in Gangnam last May. Attorney Park said, “Jeon Hye-jin’s building sale and Lee Sun-kyun’s current case are completely unrelated.”

Previously, Jeon Hye-jin purchased a building in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 14 billion won in the name of a corporation in March last year, but sold it for around 15 billion won in May. However, lawyer Park Seong-cheol attracted attention by neither 'denying' nor 'admitting' to Lee Sun-gyun's drug charges. The Incheon Police Agency's drug crime investigation unit began investigating last month after receiving drug-related information from an entertainment establishment in Gangnam, Seoul. In the process, a total of eight people involved in the incident were caught, some were criminally booked, and some are undergoing internal investigation. Among these eight people, Lee Seon-kyun, Mr. A, and Mr. B were included.

In the process of investigating the case, the police reportedly discovered a deposit of 350 million won from Lee Seon-gyun in a suspect's account.
