Jeong Soo-jung makes her first Cannes appearance with director Ji-woon Kim’s ‘Cobweb’

According to her agency H& Entertainment on the 10th, Jeong Soo-jung will attend the 76th Cannes International Film Festival on the 25th. This is because the movie 'Cobweb' starring Jeong Soo-jeong was officially invited to the non-competitive section of this year's Cannes International Film Festival.
Jeong Soo-jeong visits Cannes for the first time with ‘Spider’s Nest’. 'Cobweb' will begin its official screening in Cannes, France on the 25th, followed by a press conference and red carpet event. Jeong Soo-jeong will participate in the official schedule with director Ji-woon Kim and actors Kang-ho Song, Soo-jeong Lim, Jeong-se Oh, and Yeo-bin Jeon.
Jeong Soo-jeong said, "I am very happy and honored to have been invited to the Cannes Film Festival, which I had vaguely dreamed of since I started acting as an actor. 'Cobweb' is a work that I enjoyed acting so much that I was excited to go to the filming site. I hope many audiences will see it and enjoy it. “As I have been invited to Cannes, I will work hard to watch and learn and show you that I am improving further,” he said.
'Spider's Nest' was filmed in the 1970s by director Kim (played by Song Kang-ho), who believed that if only the ending of the film 'Spider's Nest' was refilmed, it would become a masterpiece. It was filmed under adverse conditions that were on the verge of going crazy, including censorship and actors and producers who did not understand the changes. It depicts the events that occur while pushing forward.
Jeong Soo-jeong plays the role of Han Yu-rim, a new actor whose popularity is rapidly rising and the lead actor of the movie 'Cobweb'. He is expected to enhance the perfection of the work by vividly portraying the character's dramatic emotions.
