'Sin City 3', faster than the previous part... Exceeded 4 million views on the 5th day of release
According to the distributors Avio Entertainment and Plus M Entertainment on the 4th, 'Criminal City 3' surpassed 4 million viewers at 12:00 pm on the same day. This is two days faster than the previous record, 'Sin City 2', which surpassed 4 million on the 7th day of release. It is also the first time that a Korean film has surpassed 4 million viewers since 'Confidential Cooperation 2: International' surpassed 4 million viewers in the morning of September 17 last year.
Above all, 'Sin City 3' mobilized 1,162,598 spectators per day on June 3, exceeding the number of 1,037,004 spectators on May 21, the opening weekend of 'Sin City 2'. It is also a box office record with the highest number of daily audiences among Korean films, excluding 'Myeongryang' (2014), 'Along with the Gods' (2018), and 'Train to Busan' (2016), which were released during the summer vacation season.
In addition, the number of daily audiences on the weekend and Saturday of the opening week of 'Parasite' (2019) was also renewed by 1,126,677. 'Sin City 3' is causing a revival of theaters and Korean films with the start of summer.
