Actor Yoo Ah-in (real name Um Hong-sik, 37), who is accused of habitual drug use, is sent to the prosecution.

According to multiple media outlets, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Unit plans to send Yoo Ah-in to the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office without detention on the 9th. The police did not re-apply for an arrest warrant for Yoo Ah-in, but instead handed it over to the prosecution.

In February, the police received the results of an analysis from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation that found four types of narcotic components, including hemp, propofol, cocaine, and ketamine, in Yoo Ah-in's hair and urine. The police have prosecuted and investigated a total of 21 people, including Yoo Ah-in, 8 people around him, including writer Choi Mo (32), who is known as his closest aide, and 12 people in the medical field, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act and the Medical Service Act.
