"As long as you're okay, we'll go to the end" Kim Seon-ho, the rare trust of director Park Hoon-jung of 'The Scion'
Actor Kim Seon-ho (37) thanked director Park Hoon-jung for believing in him until the end.
On the morning of the 12th, Kim Seon-ho started an interview about the movie 'The Scion' (director Park Hoon-jung) at a cafe in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
Kim Seon-ho expressed his gratitude to director Park Hoon-jung, who held his hand until the end even though privacy issues arose at the time of casting 'The Scion'.
"At that time, there was no way to know what director Park Hoon-jung was feeling. I had mixed feelings. Director Park and CEO Jang Gyeong-ik of Studio & New, the production company, talked about this matter together and then told me that. I have an idea.’ And the director kept pretending that nothing was wrong with me.”
After confirming the trust of the director and the head of the production company, Kim Seon-ho had no choice. He said, "From my point of view, I thought that it should not be a nuisance." “Even at the time, the movie was delayed because of me, and if I didn’t do it, it would be delayed or there would be a loss. I had no choice but to say, ‘Yes, I will do it’.”
Kim Seon-ho and director Park, who responded with loyalty to their faith, are now good brothers and friends. He said, "I took a walk with the director for an hour each. The conversations I had during that time helped me a lot in my acting, and I was able to mature as a person."
“Director Park Hoon-jung is a good director, a good older brother, and a friend to me. Even in acting, he shares his thoughts and tells me how to improve. He told me a lot about what I have to do and whether I can move forward.” 'The Scion' is about an unknown scion (Kim Seon-ho) in front of Marco (Kang Tae-joo), a boxer who wanders around illegal stadiums in the Philippines, as well as forces with different goals, Han Yi-sa (Kim Kang-woo), Yun-ju (Go Ara), etc. appears and captures the unfolding chase.
In his screen debut, 'The Scion', Kim Seon-ho transformed into a completely different character from his previous works. He is ruthless, yet possesses a sense of composure and wit. He has performed realistic and intense actions such as car chasing, wire, and shooting action.
'The Scion' will be released on June 21st.
