K-Pop Star Ivy Responds Gracefully to Rude Comments on Her Appearance

K-pop singer and musical actress Ivy has become a topic of conversation for her cool response to rude comments about her appearance.

On October 2, Ivy shared a video on her Instagram with the caption "Legendary incident occurred," featuring a collaboration with American creator Dova.

In the video, Ivy is seated at an outdoor table, expressing her annoyance at the surrounding noise by saying, "It's noisy." Dova, sitting behind her, retorts in Korean, "You're noisier." Ivy bursts into laughter at the American's playful scolding in Korean.

While the lighthearted video brought smiles, some netizens left rude comments. One commenter asked, "What happened to your face?" to which Ivy calmly replied, "It's because I'm getting older."

Supportive netizens came to Ivy's defense against the disrespectful remarks. One user pointed out, "Guys, stop judging appearances. It comes back to you. Why ruin a fun and entertaining video?" Ivy responded with humor, "People can't live without criticizing looks and age. Even the most beautiful celebrities get it. Who am I to be exempt?" Another supporter commented, "It all comes back as karma," to which Ivy replied, "You have a beautiful heart, so you'll be blessed. Work less and earn more."
