Actress Kang Ye-won Mourns the Loss of Her Father

Actress Kang Ye-won, whose real name is Kim Ji-eun, is mourning the loss of her father.

Kang Ye-won's father, Kim Moo-young, passed away on the 30th. The news was shared early on the 30th through Kang Ye-won's Instagram story.

Kang Ye-won is listed as the chief mourner and is expected to stay by her father's side during his final journey.

Previously, on the 29th, Kang Ye-won expressed her filial affection towards her father on her social media. She mentioned, "My dad is lying in a nursing hospital, and I wanted to play my YouTube videos for him so he wouldn't be bored," adding, "But the tablet is too old to play them, so I just set up a stand. I'll try again this week."

The funeral is being held in Room 2 at the Seoul Asan Hospital Funeral Hall. Visitors can pay their respects after 12 PM. The funeral procession will take place on May 2nd at 7 AM.

Born in 1979, Kang Ye-won is 47 years old and debuted in the 2001 drama 'Honey Honey.' After appearing in the 2022 JTBC drama 'Only One Person,' she is currently engaging with fans through YouTube.
