2PM's Taecyeon Ties the Knot in Private Ceremony Amid Photo Leak Controversy
On the 27th, images from Taecyeon's wedding began circulating on Chinese social media platforms. The photos show Taecyeon and his bride arm-in-arm and gazing at each other.
It is reported that the photos were taken by a guest at the Shilla Hotel, capturing the scene from their room window. The wedding was intended to be private, considering the bride is a non-celebrity, which has sparked significant attention.
Taecyeon married his girlfriend, who is four years younger, on the 24th at the Shilla Hotel's Yeongbin Hall in Seoul. The couple, who have been together for over a decade, celebrated their love in an intimate ceremony with family and close relatives.
Taecyeon publicly acknowledged his relationship in 2020 and announced his engagement last year. In a heartfelt letter, he shared, "I have promised to spend my life with someone who has understood and trusted me for a long time."
The ceremony was officiated by Hwang Chansung, the first married member of 2PM, adding a special touch to the event. Fellow 2PM members Jun. K, Wooyoung, Junho, and Nichkhun performed the congratulatory song, showcasing their strong bond.
