K-Pop Star Son Dam-bi Reveals New Home After Leaving $7,500-a-Month Rental

K-pop singer Son Dam-bi has unveiled her new home after moving out of her $7,500-a-month rental.

On October 24, Son Dam-bi shared a video titled 'Villa Remodeling Interior! We Completely Overhauled It...(Demolition Site & Furniture Selection)' on her YouTube channel 'DambiSon'.

In the video, Son Dam-bi revealed her new home after leaving her $7,500-a-month newlywed house in Itaewon. She explained, "Most of the belongings have been moved out, and demolition will start tomorrow." The interior of the house was mostly empty, with plans for a complete demolition from the entrance to the living room and stairs, drawing attention.

Son Dam-bi discussed the existing house structure, stating, "The stairs are too dangerous. Since I have a baby, I plan to rebuild the stairs," and added, "I might remove the bathroom as well," indicating major structural changes. The duplex space will also be transformed, with plans to redesign the kitchen, living room, and children's area.

Son Dam-bi plans to make the second floor a space for her daughter, Hae-i, saying, "This will be a playroom for the child. This room will be just for sleeping," sharing her plans for her daughter's space. Additionally, Son Dam-bi was seen jumping on a sofa priced at approximately $9,800 while exploring furniture, emphasizing her efforts to create a nurturing environment for her daughter.

After losing 10kg just a month after giving birth, bringing her weight to 47kg, Son Dam-bi commented, "I've lost too much weight recently. Many people say I look too gaunt. I've been so busy lately, and I don't know how the days pass so quickly," but added, "I believe I need to be in shape and ready for work. If my body isn't prepared, it doesn't mean anything."

Meanwhile, Son Dam-bi married former national speed skating representative Lee Kyu-hyuk in 2022 and gave birth to their daughter, Hae-i, in 2025.
