Eva Popiel Celebrates Birthday with New South Korean Passport

Eva Popiel, a well-known television personality, has proudly shared her newly acquired South Korean passport, marking her official citizenship.

On the 23rd, Eva took to Instagram to express her joy, writing, "The best birthday gift~ At 45 years old, I received my South Korean passport today. I plan to live well for the next 45 years + an extra 10 years (aiming for 100). Thank you."

In the photo, Eva is seen beaming with happiness as she holds her new blue South Korean passport in front of a sign at Namyangju City Hall. Her radiant smile reflects the joy of receiving her passport.

Receiving the passport on her birthday, Eva described it as "the best birthday gift," sharing her unique excitement. Her humorous remark about planning for "the second half of life" aiming for 100 years brought smiles to many. Netizens also sent their congratulations, including Ilya Belyakov, who naturalized from Russia to Korea, commenting, "I still have the old green passport. Congratulations, sister!"

Originally from the UK, Eva Popiel has been a beloved figure in South Korea, known for her appearances on shows like 'Global Talk Show.' Born to a Polish-British father and a Japanese mother, she came to Korea in 2005 for her studies. She married her Korean husband in January 2010 and has two sons, born in 2013 and 2016.
