Soyou Opens Up About Dating Rumors with Lim Young-woong

K-pop singer Soyou recently shared the backstory of unexpected dating rumors involving her and fellow artist Lim Young-woong.

On the 22nd, a video titled 'The Process of Spreading Rumors in This Industry | Anyway, I Came to Talk EP.22 Rumors' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Okiki ㅇㅋㅋ'.

Soyou, who had previously worked with Lim Young-woong on a program, explained, "We met at the airport and exchanged greetings. After organizing luggage with the staff, I went to a barbecue restaurant." She continued, "The owner mentioned that Lim Young-woong was there. Since we had already greeted each other at the airport, I thought it might be awkward if I approached him again, so I just acknowledged it and didn't see him."

Soyou further revealed, "Both Lim Young-woong and I visited the same barbecue restaurant on the same day, and the owner posted about it on social media. Then either I or Lim Young-woong was removed from the post, which made it even more suspicious. Why was it deleted?" She added, "It was crazy at that time. There were so many articles. I wanted to clarify, but I felt like I shouldn't mention Lim Young-woong's name." Fortunately, Lim Young-woong addressed the situation, and the dating rumors were dismissed as a misunderstanding.
