Korean Actress Ko Jun-hee Embraces 'Hong Jin-kyung Day' with Style and Humor

Korean actress Ko Jun-hee recently shared her admiration for fellow actress Hong Jin-kyung by dedicating a day to emulate her style, even revealing her weight in the process.

On October 20, Ko Jun-hee's YouTube channel 'Ko Jun-hee GO' released a video titled 'The Reason Behind Ko Jun-hee's Short Hair... Hong Jin-kyung Would Totally Understand'.

In the video, Ko declared it 'Hong Jin-kyung Day', expressing her fondness for the senior actress. She noted, "I like Hong Jin-kyung a lot. We have many things in common," and added, "I plan to mimic her style from hair to makeup and fashion."

Discussing her connection with Hong, Ko admitted, "We're not close yet, so I call her 'senior' instead of 'sister'. I once greeted her at a gopchang restaurant; maybe she remembers."

Ko first visited a hair salon, aiming for a short haircut similar to Hong's. She explained, "I cut it because I wanted this style, but it's not complete yet. It needs to grow a bit more."

Next, Ko visited a clothing store favored by Hong, sharing, "I also like neutral colors like her. I enjoy this style," bringing laughter.

During the fitting, Ko confessed, "I want to wear this after losing weight. I can't wear it now because I'm too heavy." After trying on a crop top and wide pants, she humorously noted, "I'm embarrassed because I've gained weight, but I tried it on anyway. I think there's about a 10kg difference between Hong and me."

Conscious of her figure, Ko struck poses and stood on tiptoe, joking, "This is an occupational hazard. It comes naturally after years of filming," amusing the staff.

Choosing a fitted dress Hong had purchased, Ko quipped, "It's a size larger than hers. Thankfully, it didn't rip," and clarified, "This isn't belly fat; it's shirring," causing laughter.

When Ko wore an outfit she liked, a staff member humorously described it as "H Department Store Food Court Style," eliciting laughter.

Prompted by the staff to send a 'video message', Ko became emotional, saying, "I don't know if you remember, but I hope to meet you again someday. I love you," expressing her affection.
