Ailee Finds Joy in Luxury Gift from Husband Despite IVF Setback

Singer Ailee smiles through the disappointment of a failed IVF attempt, thanks to a luxury handbag gift from her husband.

On the 18th, the YouTube channel 'Ailee's Marriage Diary' released a video titled 'It's not easy to succeed on the first try'.

In the video, Ailee and her husband, Choi Si-hoon, express their anticipation and nervousness while waiting for the results of their first IVF attempt. Choi cautiously says, "Even if it doesn't work out, let's not be too upset," to which Ailee responds, "I'll try. It's not easy," sharing her honest feelings.

Having already seen the preliminary test results, Ailee calmly states, "It was a very clear single line." The hospital also explained that "it's not easy to succeed on the first try," and the result was ultimately negative. Ailee, having prepared herself emotionally, tried to keep her composure.

Concerned about Ailee's physical and mental strain from medication, injections, and frequent hospital visits, Choi prepared an anniversary gift. He explained, "Ailee went through a lot with the IVF process, and I wanted to give her some happy dopamine," as he visited a luxury store.

Entering the Hermès store, Choi appeared nervous, admitting, "This is the first time I've made such a big purchase." After checking the price, he confessed, "My hands shook at the 15 million won price tag," but added, "She went through so much, I wanted to do this for her."

He showed Ailee the model without revealing the price, and she chose it without hesitation. Choi decided, "When else would I have the chance to give such a gift?"

Presenting the gift, he expressed, "We'll face more challenges together, but I hope this bag brings you joy. I want it to be a gift that makes you smile when you think of me during tough times."

Upon seeing the gift, Ailee beamed, "It's my first Hermès that I've longed for," and expressed her satisfaction, "I don't usually shop, but it's so beautiful."

Choi added, "When you're struggling with hormonal changes from the IVF process, take a look at the bag," and insisted, "I don't need a gift." Ailee responded with a kiss, showing her affection.

Meanwhile, Ailee married Choi Si-hoon, a participant from Netflix's 'Single's Inferno' Season 1, last year.
