Son Dam-bi Celebrates Daughter Hae-i's First Birthday with Tears and Laughter

Singer and actress Son Dam-bi shared a day filled with tears and laughter at her daughter Hae-i's first birthday celebration.

On the 17th, a video titled 'What Happened at Hae-i's First Birthday Party?' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Dambi Son'.

Son Dam-bi and Lee Kyu-hyuk hosted an outdoor birthday party for their daughter Hae-i, inviting close friends and family to celebrate her first birthday.

Son Dam-bi expressed her concerns about the chilly weather, saying, "What should we do since it's still cold?" She also appeared flustered during preparations, exclaiming, "I forgot my shoes." As the event was delayed, she was seen repeatedly apologizing to those around her.

Despite the challenges, the birthday party commenced with comedian Heo Kyung-hwan hosting, creating a lively atmosphere. Son Dam-bi and Lee Kyu-hyuk, dressed in white attire, greeted guests with gratitude, saying, "Thank you all for coming."

Lee Kyu-hyuk expressed relief, "I was worried about the weather, but it cleared up. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate Hae-i." Son Dam-bi added, "It's already been a year since Hae-i was born. It's unbelievable," expressing her overwhelming emotions. She promised, "I will raise her happily."

While watching a video of Hae-i's growth, Son Dam-bi suddenly shed tears, bringing a moment of solemnity to the event. Host Heo Kyung-hwan lightened the mood by asking, "Why? Was it tough?"

Son Dam-bi shared, "Having a baby made me think a lot about my mom. I felt grateful to my parents for giving birth to me." She also expressed her gratitude to her in-laws, saying, "Thank you to Kyu-hyuk's parents for raising him."

However, the emotional moment was short-lived as an unexpected incident occurred. Hae-i had a little accident, causing Lee Kyu-hyuk, who was holding her, to look surprised. Heo Kyung-hwan joked, "Did it come through the diaper?" bringing laughter to the crowd.

During the traditional Korean first birthday ritual, Lee Kyu-hyuk expressed his desire for Hae-i to become a speed skater, while Son Dam-bi hoped she would pick up a microphone. Hae-i confidently grabbed the microphone and, on her second attempt, picked up cash, earning applause.

Meanwhile, singer and actress Son Dam-bi married former national speed skating representative Lee Kyu-hyuk in 2022, and they have a daughter named Hae-i.
