Secret's Song Ji-eun and Creator Park Wi Open Up About Their Decision to Start a Family

Former Secret member Song Ji-eun and creator Park Wi have shared their reasons for deciding to start a family.

On the 17th, the YouTube channel 'With Sean' released a video titled 'Why Park Wi & Song Ji-eun Decided to Have a Baby (Marriage Encouragement Video)'.

In the video, Song Ji-eun, who is one and a half years into her marriage, mentioned, "Time has flown by so quickly." She confessed about their plans for a child, saying, "I've always loved children even before marriage, but I wasn't mentally prepared."

Song Ji-eun expressed her concerns, "Once a life is born, there's no pause. You have to take responsibility until the end, and I was scared about whether we could be broad-minded parents." She added, "I was also worried about whether I could physically care for a child."

The couple decided to have a child this year. Park Wi shared, "I've always wanted to have two children since I was young," but admitted, "I still have fears. Having been diagnosed with full-body paralysis, I worry about situations where I can't physically care for a child, which might not be solvable with effort alone. I might feel guilty towards my wife and child."

Park Wi continued, "The fear from such thoughts kept constraining me," but added, "Someone told me, 'Do you raise a child with strength? You raise them with love.' Hearing that gave me some confidence." He concluded, "Of course, there will be shortcomings, but I believe they can be filled."

Sean supported their decision, advising, "The parts that are lacking will be filled through the child." Song Ji-eun responded, "If we have a child, I want to raise them with love. I want to raise a son who resembles my husband and introduce him to the world." Park Wi added, "The most important thing is for them to grow up healthy. I hope for a daughter who resembles Ji-eun," showcasing their loving relationship.

Meanwhile, the Park Wi-Song Ji-eun couple announced the opening of their YouTube channel 'Wiracle' paid membership (2,990 KRW). While they promised intimate communication and exclusive content, some subscribers expressed concerns about the potential dilution of the channel's essence.
